I have 12 months experience shooting with club equipment which served me very well over this period. I arrived at Archery World, Preston with a list of basic requirements that I would need from my club. I'd researched a little beforehand on arrows and sights and then logged on to their website and created a wishlist/basket. I'd rung the previous day and reserved a particular riser I was interested in. It was busy but worth the short wait. I was served by Dan who'd I'd spoken to the day before. He was extremely knowledgeable and with his vast experience gave me lots of advise, answered my many questions patiently and ensured I only purchased what I needed for my next step from novice to intermediate archer. I was there for 2 hours and I'd recommend that you allow plenty of time for your first kit purchase; try the bow, sight and arrows in the range and listen to the advice - particularly with regard to the weight of limbs. I wouldn't hesitate to travel the 40 miles again when I next need some help or when I upgrade my limbs . Thank you Dan.
I went to archery world yesterday and was their about 3 hours! Absolutely lovely staff and very friendly. I was served by Paul and I bought some new arrows. I was also interested in purchasing a new bow to which Paul allowed me to practice with variety of different bows (flat bows) in their indoor demonstration range for about an hour. Definitely recommend Archery World!
We have had an amazing experience here at archery world. We were served by Dan who was very patient and knowledgable. The first time my wife and I went we informed Dan we were not looking to buy but were interested in buying our first kit. I had looked online for reviews on equipment before I went so had a good idea on the riser I wanted to use. Knowing we were not buying Dan still spent an incredible amount of time with us going through things we should be looking out for, things that would generally be a waste of money based on our skill level and what we should be looking for as we progress in ability. We were so impressed we ended up buying 2 kits. There is a small range to test out your equipment on so you can be happy with it before you leave (I think it is 20ft) When we had decided what we were interested in Dan took us both to shoot our gear and picked up on a small error my wife was making. Tony came out and gave some tips and Her shooting improved instantly. Thank you guys for all your time and effort to make our experience a great on. We will be coming back again to you and be recommending you to people at our club. They deserve every single star
